1. Should I size up or size down when selecting a shoe size? Do you make half sizes?
Res Ipsa loafers and boots run true to size. We only make whole sizes, so if you wear a half size, we recommend that you size down in a loafer to ensure a snug fit around the heel, and to avoid slippage. The wool upper will stretch just a bit to provide a customized fit. But, size up in a boot to allow room for a thicker sock. (Example: A person who wears a 9 1/2 should buy a size 9 loafer and a size 10 boot.)
2. How much do you charge for shipping?
Nothing. Shipping within the United States is free. Shipping outside the United States can be done for an additional fee.
3. What shipping methods do you offer?
We ship via FedEx, UPS, and United States Postal Service. We use tracking numbers for all packages. We will ship your order for free using the least-cost method. If you require faster delivery, we can accommodate you but we will have to charge for shipping.
4. I see pair of wool loafers I really like but the website indicates it is out of stock. Can I get a pair like just it?
No, unfortunately it is impossible to create another pair of shoes identical to an already-sold pair. Each pair is one-of-a-kind and cannot be exactly recreated. However, it is conceivable some shoes made from the same kilim may resemble other shoes from that kilim. Additionally, some kilim patterns are recurring so check our website for similar new products. 5. What is your return policy?
If you have received the correct order and are unsatisfied with the fit of the item, we’re happy to exchange for a different size from our current stock at any time. Items must be in original condition, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged, with tags still attached (if applicable). All items are exchangeable for store credit only. The customer is responsible for shipping the item back to our warehouse, and the customer will incur the shipping cost. Once we receive the item, you will be given a store credit of the same price as the returned item. Store credits are valid for up to one year from the date they were issued.
All items for return or exchange should be sent to Res Ipsa, Attention: Returns, 1015A Collier Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30318. Please include the order number, if known. You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in most cases you will receive the refund more quickly.
If you want to exchange your product, please include a note with the product that you would like in exchange. Unfortunately, we cannot hold a product while we wait to receive your exchange so you want to identify a back up item, too.
