Malibu, CA -- We were determined to end 2020 on a high note--so decided to open a new store. This week we swung open the doors to our newest store, located in Malibu, California. The space, at 1,400-square-feet, is our largest to date. Malibu Village is literally across the street from world-famous Surfrider Beach, and adjacent to amazing retailers like Fred Segal, RRL, and Wittmore.
We are guided by ten core beliefs. When we face challenges--looking at you 2020--we return to these core beliefs to assess whether we still believe these things. For a year that has tested our resilience, the new store opening is especially rewarding because it affirms several core beliefs.
1. Retail is not dead. (even in a pandemic)
2. Do it with joy, or not at all. (it's a privilege to do what you love every day)
3. Beauty is not trivial. (it brings joy to the soul)
