Background: An annual tricycle race started in 1973 and held in Killington, Vermont. Competitors build their own tricycles for the race and dress in over-the-top costumes. The event started as a friendly rivalry between some of the town’s establishments. It has since grown tremendously into a weekend long event with elaborate themed parties.
