Our Moroccan Rug Sandal is handmade in our factory in Marrakech using repurposed bourcherouite rugs. Boucherouite rugs are made by members of the Berber tribe from the Ourika Valley in the High Atlas mountains outside Marrakech, Morocco. Ourika boucherouite rugs are are handwoven for use in the home using undyed organic wool with Berber motifs.

Our Moroccan Rug Sandals are handmade, lined in genuine leather, leather sole, and thin protective layer of rubber over the sole. Each pair is from a vintage rug so they are totally unique, never to be reproduced

• Made from 50-to-100 year old vintage Moroccan boucherouite rugs.
• Thin layer of rubber protecting the leather sole.
• Upper lined in leather. 
• One-of-a-kind.
• Handmade In Morocco.
• True to size, whole sizes only.
• Upper will stretch / mold to your foot up to a half size so we recommend half sizes go down to the next whole size (e.g., if you are a size 9.5 you would order a size 9).

• Very durable.
• If footbed of sandal is wet, dry it with a soft cloth or towel. You can also let it air dry.
